BEHOLD... The newest technology breakthrough for Fans.
The Dyson Air Maximizer.
There are MANY perks to this funky new fan! Some of these are:
1. No Blades. This means there's no "buffeting" in the air that's blown. Instead it blows are smooth, uninterrupted stream of air.
2. It's safe. As modelled below, you can stick your head right up to it, in it/ through it and your head doesn't get chopped off!
3. It's easy to clean. Remeber the days when you had to remove the fan cover, the blades, etc, clean and dust off every part, then put it all back together again. Well, those days are gone now, thanks to Dyson!
4. Dimmer-switch control. Old fans usually only have about 5 settings. The dyson air multiplier has a "dimmer-switch" control for precise adjustment of airflow power.
5.Touch-tilt. This funky fan tilts on it's own centre of gravity. staying put without clamping!
AND... to top it all off. Anthony just walked in with his new iPhone! He's grinning like a kid at christmas!

Expressions of Interest, Please??

Ok, so recently i uploaded just a few of the artworks i've done this year (2009)onto Facebook. A few people have commented that i should SELL SELL SELL!
SO.... I've decided to start up an internet business to sell that artworks i produce.
HOWEVER, before i launch the website i'm considering holding a privately hosted art exhibition of ALL my artwork (from all years) sometime in the summer school holidays coming up. Probably in December sometime.
The idea of the exhibition is so that all you friends and family can get "first dibs" on artworks before they double in price and go on the intternet next year.
IMPORTANT: The show cannot go on unless i get enough "expressions of interest" to hold the exhibition.
It will be a casual affair and there'll most likely be bubbly and nibblies for you as you wander about the exhibition...
If you're interested in attending or would like to see the half-price exhibition go ahead, please leave a comment below, or email me @ jessicawheeler@live.com.au
Here's a sneak peak of some images that'll be available....
Don't forget to the spread the word, the more people the better :D

[Yes folks, that's a REAL UN-TAMPERED photo right there. He's lovin' Ella smooching up to him!]
On the 17th - 20th September, Anthony and I found ourselves playing Mum's and Dad's for a few nights. We willingly agreed to babysit my Aunty & Uncles kids while they went for a little getaway. 3 kids - a 7-year old girl, a 5-year old boy and a nearly 2-year old girl. Poor Antho was messing himself beforehand, but after just a few smooches from little Ella, he admitted he 'kinda likes it'.
Here's a few highlights from our 'Mums & Dada' Babysitting adventure:
[At the Aquatic Centre]
[Just way too cute! She was so adventurous too, tried to get under the big dump of the bucket...I had to throw myself around her to stop the massive dump of water from hitting her and she just laughed at me!]
[We played bubbles in the backyard for nearly 2 hours. I felt soo light headed. Our big man Eli was shooting the bubbles with a water pistol while Zoe danced around delicately popping them with her finger. Very fun.]

My Fairytale Come True.

Once upon a time there was a goofy looking Mia Maid named Jess. She lived in a far away land off the bottom of the 'Mainland', in the forgotten kingdom of Del-city.
Every Sunday, Mia Maid Jess would attend a princess training class for Young Women. Even though she and the others were just Mia Maids, they all dreamed of one day becoming princesses... and marrying a handsome prince in the grandest building of the King of Kings and live happily ever after... One Sunday, at her princess training class, Mia Maid Jess and the other Young Women were asked to write a record of the qualities of the prince of their dreams. Mia Maid Jess invested much time, thought and study into writing this list and every year, (sometimes multiple times during), she reviewed and refined her list... Soon the time came for her to leave the Kingdom of Del-city behind and travel to another; the Kingdom of Launceston. Over the following years Mia Maid Jess soon graduated from her princess training class for Young Women. She wondered where her prince was...? She looked at her reflection and didn't find the princess she thought she'd find there. Thats when, POOF!, her good friend and mentor told her something that changed her life: "...If you want that kind of person, you have to become that kind of person." As he POOFED! away she found he'd left behind the recipe of the spell to transform her into a princess:

Thats when, POOF!, her good friend and mentor told her something that changed her life: "...If you want that kind of person, you have to become that kind of person." As he POOFED! away she found he'd left behind the recipe of the spell to transform her into a princess:
1-2 Tbs of scriptural nourishment DAILY
2 Cups of sincere personal prayer daily
(recommended to add more prayer for better results)
1 Tbs of Sabbath day observance each week
10 Cups of constant commandment keeping...
From that moment forward, her life began to change. Each time she looked at that list, not only did she imagine the prince of her dreams, but she also worked on becoming the princess of her prince's dreams.
She came across a few princes here and there, some came close to the list, some were just there as friends, and others were simply not for her.
Days became weeks, weeks became months and the months turned into a year... And just when she'd given up on Princes and turned to Education, Sir Anthony Wheeler appeared.
Through the instant carrier-pigeon service called Facebook, Sir Anthony the Knight of Hobart and Miss Jess of Launceston talked and talked. Occasionally they called. And then Sir Anthony left his beloved Kingdom of Hobart to live in the Kingdom of Launceston (for educational purposes). From the moment Miss Jess saw Sir Anthony that fateful day he moved to the Kingdom of Launceston, she secretly knew he would someday become her Prince.
Days and Months passed, they grew closer and closer together.
Then...
Sunday night, upon a hill so high, though the sky was dark the stars were bright (-except they were actually hidden by clouds). A beautiful question was asked, and a dream began:
"Will you marry me?"
Answered with a joyful:
"Yes!"
On the 19th day of the Month called June in the year 2009, Jess and Anthony were wedded in the grand building Sydney Temple of the King of Kings. Her Prince was everything she'd dreamed of, everything from her list she worte when she was just a dreaming mia maid.
On that amazing wedding day, Miss Jess looked into her Prince's eyes and saw... a Princess. She married her Handsome prince and became a princess......
Dreams come true. Fairytales happen.

Ok. Being newly married, I've realised that there are alot of thing our mothers/father's don't warn us about newly-married life.
For example...
[Your husband may have the occasional tendency to put in a few of your hair extensions and play air guitar like a bogan-rocker... it helps when his hair is the same colour as yours too :P ]
Or that he might freak out when he wakes up to see that married life turns his companion from this...:
[Anthony likes this pic - i don't- anyways.....]
...to this:
[Yeah... no comment haha]
I think they call it "Marriage Contentment".
As a couple we've started a tradition called "Friday Night's Date Night". It works like this: Every Friday Night we go on a Date. It keeps the romantic spark alive. For example, one friday night i organised this for Anthony:
It was a romantic dinner at home (we had Zuccini Slice) with Maison, candles, chocolate fondue strawberries, watched a movie, had a hot chocolate and went to sleep (we were haggered from a busy busy week/month!)
Will add more soon folks ;)

Ok... So the engagement party was in May. We got over 200 photos of that so i'm not gunna waste precious time trying to upload all those. Here's a couple tho:
[I was pretty much horrified when he wouldn't kiss me after the cake... and he thought that kissing my hand was good compensation... Ah men are so oblivious sometimes...]
[More presents came after this pic... Presents are STILL coming in!]
[Thank you to my Uncle Ben Terry who made this incredible cake!!]
[Guest book/ entrance to engagement party...]
There were TONS and TONS of people at our engagement party. Each person who came meant something to us in some way and it was a wonderful and very long party. Lots and lots of socialising (so much that even I got exhausted within the first hour!).
My sister Leia made an awesome, sweet, and humorous phot-slide show of Anthony and I's journey. It included funny and cute baby pics, embarrassing preteen - teen year shots and humorous captions which lead to current day pics. It was great. a crowd winner i'm sure.
For anyone who reads this who was present there that day: "THANK YOU so much for coming and THANK YOU even more for you gift/ donation!"
Ok. So next thing to blog. The Pre-Wedding and Wedding adventure...
Photos still to come ;)
Next,Post-Wedding Fiasco's.

Ok! Yes, it has been quite a long time since i last posted a blog.. But i have a few legitimate excuses...
Excuse Number One: I have moved into Launceston, into a home where there is currently only one working computer to share between about 8 people. 2 of which (myself and the other Jess) attend uni, and another does some sort of part-time study involving assignments (and therefore, the computer is on high demand by all three of us).
Excuse Number Two: I now work at Priceline Pharmacy, in the Kmart/Coles Complex.
Excuse Number Three: I've begun my 4-year long journey of study at University. I'm studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary). I love it.
Excuse Number Four: I met someone special :)
His name is Anthony Wheeler. We're engaged. We're getting married in 11 days...
I'M GETTING MARRIED!

Well!
The theme for Jess' party was DISNEY, as she grew up with the disney movies..
There was a huge scramble around the op-shops, lots of mormon youth desperately trying to get an outfit going!
In the end, we borrowed the Richards clothes :P
I'm still tired... Here's some Pics:
[The party was crankin' by an hour into it and just kept going off!! It was soooooo much fun to just get out there and groove away cuz everyone else was in on it too!]
[Bek dressed up as the evil odette from swan lake and i was an extra from disney's high school musical ;) ]
