Obviously i can't share the music that goes with this Song, but i can at least share the Lyrics.
It's a soft, pleasant, almost 'cheerful' tune... Kind of like a Jack Johnson meets Colbie Caillat style.
Anyways, here are the lyrics...
"Sweetest Memory"
(Verse 1)
I remember it was autum,
leaves were fallin' from the trees.
We talked for a while, you smiled,
I went weak at the knees.
And oh when you took my hand
something inside me took command.
Before i knew it could be true,
Darlin' I fell in love with you! (Verse 2)
I remember spending afternoons
just sitting in the park.
We'd talk for hours and watch
the daylight turn to dark.
In your arms i stayed
so comfortable and unafraid.
Just like a child with a friend
i never wanted it to end. (Chorus)
You are beautiful to see.
You were a blessing sent to me.
And even though it had to end,
it's nice to know you're still a friend.
I wrote this song for you,
to let you know the truth:
You mean so much to me [because]
You are my Sweetest Memory. (Verse 3)
I remember those blue eyes
and how they saw the best in me.
And with every touch i felt
that it was meant to be.
We laughed, we cried, we played,
we made the most of everyday.
But by the end, my friend,
you turned and walked away. (Bridge)
But still i
Thank you for the tender moments,
the laughs, the talks, the trust,
Thank you for your time, your smile,
your eyes, your love,
the bitter-sweet
the sweetest memory (Chorus)
You are beautiful to see.
You were a blessing sent to me.
And even though it had to end,
it's nice to know you're still a friend.
I wrote this song for you,
to let you know the truth:
You mean so much to me [because]
You are - You are beautiful to see.
You were a blessing sent to me.
And even though it had to end,
it's nice to know you're still a friend.
This song goes out to you,
the one who made it true.
You mean the world to me -
You are my Sweetest Memory.
